Born Oct. 28, 1942, in Cumberland, Md., she was a daughter of the late Victor and Emma (Miller) Beals. She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael L. Hosselrode; and a sister, Naomi Beals. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Theodore H. "Buck" Hosselrode, whom she married Oct. 26, 1963; a son, Jerry L. Hosselrode and fiancée, Sissy; a daughter, Suzie Bennett and husband Jim, all of Hyndman; three grandchildren, Levi Hosselrode, Jake Bennett and Hunter Hosselrode and his mother, Tammy Richardson; three stepgrandchildren, Chuck, Dalton and Rabecca Mosher; brothers, Ronnie Beals and wife Judy, Bill Beals and wife Alice, all of Hyndman; numerous nieces and nephews. Sugar was a member of Wills Mountain Church of Christ. Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, 169 Clarence St., Hyndman, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Gregory Sinclair officiating Burial will follow at Palo Alto Hilltop Cemetery, Hyndman. She was buried on 4 Jun 2008 in Palo Alto Hilltop Cemetery, Hyndman, Pennsylvania.
