- GRANT TOWN, W.Va. — Kenneth William Winebrenner Jr., 56, of Grant Town, (formerly of Mount Savage), passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, at his residence. Born on Aug. 26, 1958, in Cumberland, he was the son of Jeanette “Jean” (Bean) Winebrenner and the late Kenneth W. Winebrenner Sr. Kenneth worked for the Marion County Coal Company. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 33 years, Nanette (Waugerman) Winebrenner; his daughter, Heather Kaye Alves and husband, Evandro; grandson, Emerson Alves; brothers, David J. Winebrenner and finace, Barb Lee, Mount Savage, and Ricky K. Winebrenner and wife, Karen, of Mount Savage and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Sandra Hetz officiating. Kenneth will be cremated in accordance with his wishes. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kenneth’s honor may be made to the Grant Town Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O.
