- Mrs. Patricia Ann Weyant Monnett, 45, of 972 Maryland Avenue, died Tuesday at Sacred Heart Hospital's Hospice Unit. Born in Wood, Pa. on June 1, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Edward T. and Mildred M. (Whited) Ford. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, William M. Weyant in 1966 and Norman L. Monnett in 1977. Mrs. Monnett was a member of Faith Community Church, near Hyndman. She was employed as a waitress at the Continental Restaurant, Country Club Mall, LaVale. She was a master of Hyndman Grange and a member of the WIBC Bowling League. Surviving are one stepson, Norman Monnett, Reading, Pa.; two sons, William Weyant, Joppa, and Robert Weyant, U.S. Marines, Hawaii, two daughters, Mrs. Joy Campbell, Alamogordo, N.M., and Angela Monnett, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Gates, Hesston, Pa.; Mrs. Evelyn Cornell, Everett, Pa.; Mrs. Emily Tew, Saxton, Pa. and Mrs. Lois Taylor, South Fork, Pa.; two brothers, James Ford, South Fork, and Edward Ford, Ohio; one grandchild and one step-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The family requests memorials take the form of contributions to Calvary Christian Academy Girls Athletic Club, Cresaptown.
