  Notes	FROSTBURG - Raymond W. Shoemake, 50, of 22 East Main Street, died yesterday in VA Hospital, Martinsburg, W.Va., following a long illness. Born at Zihlman, he was the son of the late George Shoemake and Cora (Winebrenner) Shoemake. He was a member of Frostburg United Methodist Church and Farrady Post 24 American Legion. He was a disabled Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ruth (Snyder) Shoemake; one son, Paul M. Shoemake, Loartown; one daughter, Mrs. Sally Beynon, Manassas, Va.; a sister, Mrs. Annamary Witt, Cresaptown; two half-sisters, Mrs. Delores Harris, Borden; Mrs. Malebell Paul, Cumberland; two brothers, George Shoemake, California; Arthur Shoemake, Germany; two half-brothers, Edgar Shoemake, here; Ernest Witt, North Carolina, and three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home. Cumberland News, Saturday, January 28, 1978 He was buried in Frostburg Memorial Park, Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland.
