- BOTHELL, Wash. - Ruth Louise Shoemake, 74, of 3333 228th St. SE, Bothell, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001, at Evergreen Hospital. Born March 24, 1927, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Harry Snyder and Ruth (Zimmerly) Snyder. Mrs. Shoemake was a former employee of GC Murphy and Parise's Beverage's in Frostburg. She moved from Frostburg in 1979 after the death of her husband, Raymond W. Shoemake, in 1978. She is survived by her son, Paul Michael Shoemake and his wife Carolyn, Frostburg, and daughter Sally Kay (Shoemake) Benyon and her husband Joseph, Redmond, Wash.; a brother, Charles Snyder, Chicago; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Shoemake will be cremated in Washington and then laid to rest next to her husband in Frostburg Memorial Cemetery with a small family ceremony. Bleitz Funeral Home in Seattle and Sowers Funeral Home in Frostburg are handling the arrangements.
