Frostburg, Jan. 15 - Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lancaster, Borden Mines, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Lillian Lancaster, to Clarence Pryor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pryor, Eckhart Mines. The ceremony was performed December 22 in St. John's Episcopal Church, with Rev. Louis B. Brown, pastor, officiating at the single ring ceremony. The Cumberland Sunday Times, January 15, 1949 FROSTBURG Lillian Loretta Pryor, 75, of Frostburg Heights, died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999, at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born Aug. 25, 1924, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Leora (Sipple) Lancaster. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence L. Pryor. Mrs. Pryor was a homemaker and was very loving and giving to her family. She is a star in heaven. She attended Sunday School at the First English Baptist Church. Surviving are one son, Allen A. Pryor and wife Roxann, Lonaconing; two daughters, Gerri Baker and husband Mike, Cumberland, and Marlene Diggs and husband Mark, Carpendale, W.Va.; two grandsons, Ron Nicol and wife Jennifer, and Clint Bridges; three granddaughters, Kandi Nicol, Holly Bridges and Alison Diggs; two great-grandchildren, Jesse and Ami Nicol; three brothers, James Lancaster, Frostburg, John Lancaster, Ohio, and Irvin Lancaster, Iowa; and two sisters, Katherine Lohr and Thelma Laurie, both of Frostburg. There will be no visitation. At her request her remains have been cremated. A memorial service will be set for a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association, Western Maryland Division, 839 Quince Orchard Blvd., Gaithersburg, MD 20878. Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., 60 W.
