MRS. JOSEPH H. MARTENS
Mrs. Cleo Frances Martens, 64, of 1020 Ella Avenue, died yesterday at Memorial Hospital, where she was taken after falling at her home. Born in Keyser, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Josephine (Dawson) Steward. Mrs. Martens was a member of the Salvation Army and Queen City Lodge 143, Loyal Star of America. Also surviving are her husband, Joseph H. Martens; two sons, Donald McCoy, Miami, Fla., and George McCoy, Wolflake, Ind.; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The body is at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The family requests that memorials be made to the Western Maryland Heart Association. Services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Maj. George Woods and Lt. William Payton of the Salvation Army, will officiate. Interment will be in Zion Memorial Cemetery.
