Born May 9, 1935, near Hyndman, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Walter and Sadie (DeVore) Lowery. She was one of 15 children. She was also preceded in death by a son, Roger L. Dawson and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by a son, Steven A. Dawson, of Wellersburg; six grandchildren, Christine, Adam, Amy, Seth, Leah and Roger Jr. and three sisters, Betty Piper, Geneva Twigg and Wilma Lease. There will be no viewing.
