- MOUNT SAVAGE — Sharon Lynn Winebrenner, 68, of Mount Savage, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, at her home. Born July 28, 1947, in Frostburg, Mrs. Winebrenner was the daughter of the late James Austin "Pete" Blank Sr. and Thelma Kathleen "Doll" (Wright) Blank. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bernard “Bernie” Joseph Winebrenner. A graduate of Mount Savage High School, class of 1965, Sharon was a homemaker and previously employed by Schwab's Sewing Factory. She was a member of the Mount Savage United Methodist Church. Sharon is survived by her son, Bernard “Big Jim” James Winebrenner; and her daughter, Jody Bucy, all of Mount Savage. She also leaves behind her brothers, James “Pete” A. Blank Jr. and Richard W. Blank and wife, Donna, all of Mount Savage; and her grandchildren, Sara and Joshua Bucy, Mount Savage. Sharon is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Wanda Whitehead, Midlothian, Kathleen Gomer and husband, Leroy Sr., Nancy Winebrenner, all of Frostburg, Mary Margaret “Peggy” Ryan and husband, Ray, Linda Winebrenner, all of LaVale, and Patricia “Patty” Winebrenner, Chambersburg, Pa.; her brother-in-law, Clarence “Darb” Winebrenner, Sykesville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Mount Savage United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, is in charge of the arrangements. Cumberland Times-News, February 17, 2016
