- Angus Linwood Brown, 69, died last night at his home, 505 Greenway Avenue. Born at Luke, he was a son of the late Angus L. and Edna (Basye) Brown. A sign painter, he held membership in First Methodist Church; Kemp Lodge 154, AF&AM of Mt. Savage, the Cumberland Consistory and Ali Ghan Shrine. Twice married, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mrs. Bertha (Folk) Brown. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mabel (Webster) Brown; two sons, Clarence R. and Willis E. Brown, both of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Jenkins and Mrs. James E. Carpenter, both of Mt. Savage, and three grandchildren. The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home where friends will be received today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted there Tuesday at 3:30 p. m. by Rev. Everett W. Culp and interment will be in Mt. Savage Methodist Cemetery. The Cumberland Sunday Times, February 9, 1964
