- WESTERNPORT — Mrs. Florence Foster, 83, of Westernport, died yesterday after a long illness. Born at Lonaconing, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary (Crowe) Ternent. Her husband, Frank Foster, preceded her in death. Mrs. Foster was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, Piedmont, and the Susanah Wesley Bible Class. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John Kelley, Westernport, and Mrs. Holmes Haywood, Piedmont; two sons, Frank C. Foster, Piedmont, and George G. Foster, LaVale; three sisters, Mrs. Mahala Grindle, Westernport; and Mrs. William Crowe and Mrs. John Johnson, both of Lonaconing; nine grandchildren and eighl great-grandchildren. The body is at the Boal Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home by Rev. Sumner Sawyers, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church. Burial will be in Philos Cemetery. The Cumberland Evening Times, February 15, 1967
