- Frostburg, Sept. 28 — Cleaver Martens, 46, a son of Mrs. Katherine and the late Christopher Martens, former residents, died early this morning at Youngstown, Ohio, after an illness of two months. An employee of the Edison Power Company, Youngstown, Mr. Martens had been a coal miner while a resident of this section. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, the former Miss Helen Ramhauff, and one daughter, Helen, at home. He was a brother of Leroy, Charles and Louis Martens, Mrs. Geneva Summers, and Mrs. Alpha Webb, Youngstown; Howard Martens, Belton, Texas; George Martens, Meyersdale; and Mrs. Pearl Jackson, Sand Patch, Pa. The funeral will be held Wednesday with burial in Youngstown.

At the Evangelical parsonage, 226 Pennsylvania avenue, South Cumberland, yesterday, by Rev. M. B. McLaughlin, Mr. Cleaver Jefferson Martin and Miss Helen Rebecca Ramhoff, both of Frostburg, The couple were attended by Mrs. Rebecca Ramhoff and Mrs. B. M. Bennett, mother and sister of the bride.
