- MT. SAVAGE - Charles P. Rizer 87, died yesterday in Frostburg Community Hospital, where he was admitted Monday. Born in Mt. Savage, he was the son of the late George H. and Amelia (Kirby) Rizer. He was a retired clay worker for the Union Mining Company. He was a member of the Mt. Savage United Methodist Church and Jennings Run Council 15, JOUAM. Surviving are 2 brothers, George A. Rizer of Wellersburg, PA and Richard T. Rizer of Mt. Savage, with whom he resided, and a number of nieces & nephews. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home in Frostburg today. Services will be conducted tomorrow by the Rev. Dr. John Bayley Jones. Interment will be in the Methodist Cemetery in Mt. Savage.
