- CRESAPTOWN — Herbert L. Logsdon, 52, a former resident, died yesterday of a heart attack at his home in Front Royal, Va. He had been in ill health for a year. A native of Mt. Savage, he was a son of James Logsdon, Eckhart, and the late Sophia (Michael) Logsdon. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Flora (Hansel) Logsdon; a son, Harold Logsdon, Westernport; a daughter, Mrs. Leona Fazenbaker, Cresaptown; three brothers, Olin Logsdon, Ridgeley; Louis Logsdon, Mount Clemens, Mich., and Marshall Logsdon, Mt. Savage; a sister, Mrs. Catherine Catherman, Eckhart, and six grandchildren. The body will arrive tomorrow and be taken to the Hafer Funeral Home, Frostburg.
