- John T. Folk, 80, of 435 North Mechanic Street, died yesterday in Victor F. Cullen State Hospital. Born at Mt. Savage, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kielly Folk and was the husband of the late Mary (Kerr) Folk. Surviving are two sons, Robert and David Folk, both of Cumberland; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Izat, Mt. Savage; Mrs. Hannah Leatherman, National; Mrs. Edna Rainer, Gilmore; and Mrs. Ada Lemmert, address unknown; two brothers, Charles Folk, Eckhart; Roy Folk, Mt. Savage; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The body will remain at the residence. Services Saturday. Burial will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. The Cumberland News, January 7, 1965
