Bureau of the Evening Times, August 20, 1906 – The funeral of Mr. Owen Logsdon, whose death occurred at the hospital as the result of injuries received in an accident in Eckhart Mine some time ago, took place Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the residence. Rev. W.D. Perry, of the Eckhart Methodist Church, preached and conducted the services. A large crowd of friends attended. The deceased is survived by his mother and two brothers, also his wife and four (sic) children, all residing at Eckhart Mines. He was well known here, being the son of the late Samuel Logsdon. He was buried in Porter Cemetery, Eckhart, Allegany Co., Maryland.
