- FROSTBURG — Mrs. Bertie E. Lewis, 78, formerly of Winchester Road, died yesterday after an extended illness. Born in Cresaptown, she was a daughter of the late Wesley and Rose (Trescher) Porter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Trubadour Lewis. Mrs. Lewis is survived by two sons, Robert P. Lewis, Baltimore; David W. Lewis, Laurel; a daughter, Mrs. Glen Leydig, New Carrollton; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Pearl Miller, Cumberland; a brother, J. Marshall Porter, Winchester Road; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Hafer-Sowers Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted in the funeral home tomorrow at 1 p.m. The Rev. Harold L.
