- FROSTBURG - Mrs. Bertha E. Bantz, 55, of RD1, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, where she had been admitted August 16. She was born at Gilmore, a daughter of the late David and Bertha (Coleman) Llewellyn. Her husband, William O. Bantz Sr., preceded her in death. Mrs. Bantz was a member of Frostburg Church of the Brethren, Women of the Moose, Lonaconing Republican Club, James P. Love Post 92 American Legion Auxiliary, Lonaconing, and the Redmen's Club. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Rhonda McKenzie, RD 2; two sons, William O. Bantz Jr., Universal City, Tex.: Dennis K. Bantz, Hagerstown; two brothers, David Llewellyn, Liberal, Kans.: James Llewellyn, RD 1, Midland; four sisters, Mrs. Arvella Loar, Gilmore: Mrs. Buenna McGregor, Lonaconing; Mrs. Helen Thrasher, Midland: Mrs. Nellie Cutter, Klondike, and four grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be conducted there tomorrow at 1 p.m. Rev. J. Richard Green and Rev. Sadie E. Triplett will officiate. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Paul Noland, Richard Evans, Joseph Wilson, Tim Cullen, Roger Llewellyn and William Llewellyn. The Cumberland News, August 27, 1977
