- CUMBERLAND - Paul Daniel Wilson Jr., 22, of Cumberland, died Friday, Nov. 5. 1993, at his residence. Born June 10, 1972, in Cumberland, he was the son of Paul Daniel Wilson Sr. and Gail Elizabeth (Ayres) Wilson. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Kathleen McKenzie Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a 1990 graduate of Fort Hill High School. He was a senior at Frostburg State University, where he belonged to the History and Sociology honor societies. He also worked part time at the George-Upchurch Funeral Home and was a member of the N.R.A. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Norman and Bonnie Ayres, Naples, Fla.; paternal grandparents, Paul and Virginia Wilson, Frostburg; maternal great-grandmother, Emma Allen, Cumberland; one brother, Patrick N. Wilson, Cumberland; his fiancee, Robbie Ann Wilson, Cumberland; two uncles, Norman Ayres, and wife Rae Ann, Naples; and Michael Wilson, and wife Carolyn, Severna Park; two aunts, Kimberly Thompson, and husband Keith, and Karen Lockerby, and husband Richard, all of Naples; and several cousins. Friends will be received at the George-Upchurch Funeral Home Monday. Services will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Frostburg, by Msgr. S.M. Passarelli. Interment will be in Mount Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Adam, Tym Holwager, Bryan Varkonda, Mike Savage, Richard Lockerby and Scott Ayres.
