FROSTBURG - Donald F. Drees, 43, of RD 2, was dead on arrival yesterday at Frostburg Community Hospital. A native of here, he was a son of Albert and Pearl (Minnick) Drees, of Finzel Road. Mr. Drees was owner and operator of Don's Tavern on the Finzel Road. He was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Pocahontas, Pa., Aerie 1273, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Loyal Order of Moose, 348. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his widow, Mrs. Lucinda (Brown) Drees; four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Miller, Schellsburg, Pa.; Mrs. Genevieve Wilhelm, and Mrs. Hilda Miller, both of RD 3, Meyersdale, and Mrs. Margarette Festerman, Coatsville, Pa., and three brothers, Raymond Drees and Bernard Drees, both of Finzel, and Harold Drees, of Eckhart. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Church here. Interment will follow in the Finzel Cemetery. A service will be held by LOOM 348 today at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
