Born April 10, 1927, in Pocahontas, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Pearl (Baer) Baer. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Janis "Dolly" Dugan in 1992 and a son, Gerald Conrad Drees in 1994. Mrs. Drees was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pocahontas.Surviving are her husband, Bernard C. Drees; one grandson, Randy Dugan; two sisters, Betty A. Bell, Akron, Ohio; Janice Williams and husband, Kenneth, Somerset, Pa.; one brother, David Baer and wife, Lois, Akron, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers for the departed will be recited at 8:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Friday a 10 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Albert J. Anselmi as celebrant. Interment will be in the Finzel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the Hospice of Garrett County, 69 Wolf Acres Drive, Oakland, MD 21550.
