- CRESAPTOWN — Anna Mary (Shoemake) O'Brien, 68, formerly of Glen Oaks Trailer Court, Cresaptown, having been a resident of Lions Manor Nursing Home, died Saturday, March 14, 1998, at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born May 6, 1929, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late George and Cora (Winebrenner) Shoemake. Surviving are her husband, Clarence O'Brien; two sons, George Petenbrink and wife, Gloria, Frostburg, and Raymond Petenbrink and wife, Judy, Engleton, Texas; two stepsons, Ernie O'Brien and wife, Marion, Orlando, Fla., and Roger O'Brien and wife, Peggy, Cumberland; two stepdaughters, Irene Moore and husband, Ira, Ridgeley, W.Va., and Shirley M. Lease and husband, Richard, Falling Waters, W.Va.; six grandsons; one granddaughter; three step-grandsons; three step-granddaughters; three great-grandsons; and two sisters, Delores Harris, a patient at Lions Manor Nursing Home, and Mollabell Paul, Cumberland. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., 60 West Main St., Frostburg, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev.
