ELMO "Willie Allen 'Bill' Grubaugh, 83, died at 4:10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 1995, at his residence." "Services were held Saturday morning at First Christian Church, St. Elmo, with the Rev. Randy Whitehead officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Effingham. May Funeral Home, St. Elmo, was in charge of arrangements. Memorials: First Christian Church or Fayette County Cancer Fund." "Mr. Grubaugh was born Jan. 5, 1912, in St. Elmo, son of Charles and Mary Logue Grubaugh. He was a retired lineman for Southwestern Electric Cooperative, a member and elder of First Christian Church in St. Elmo, chairman of Red Coat Volunteers of Fayette County Hospital and a member of Friendly Neighbors in St. Elmo.
