"PEORIA--Lawrence 'Larry' Wesley Nance, 72, of Peoria died at 1:25 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004, at his residence."
"Born May 21, 1932, in Murphysboro to Willard Lawrence and Gussie Bernice Dallas Nance, he married Lois Ware on Sept. 13, 1997, in Groveland. She survives."
"Also surviving are three sons, Stephen (and Terrie) of Washington, Mark (and Becky) of Pekin, and Antoine Ware {his second wife's son--compiler's insertion} of Peoria; three daughters, Cecelia (and Chuck) Smith and Bridget Nance, both of East Peoria, and Mary Nance of Peoria; one brother, Gordon (and Wanda) Nance of Washington; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren."
"He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister."
"He was an Army veteran."
"He was a machinist at Keystone Steel & Wire in Bartonville, until retiring in 1994."

"Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, where visitation will be one hour before. The Revs. Jim Zehr and Wayne Millslage will officiate. Additional visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery."
