"FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR TOMMY TIPSWORD, FORMER RESIDENT"
"Funeral services for Tommy Tipsword, 70, a former resident of this community, were held at the funeral home in Edinburg at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial was in the Kramer cemetery west of Moccasin."
"Tommy, son of the late Mary Jane and Thomas Pickett Tipsword, suffered a heart attack and passed away Saturday in the ambulance en route to St. Vincent's hospital in Taylorville. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lona Peterson of Edinburg."

"Thomas Tipsword, 72 (sic), Edinburg, died at 10:45 o'clock Saturday morning in St. Vincent Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient four days."
"He was born June 23, 1885 (sic), in Fayette County, the son of Thomas P. and Mary Jane Durbin Tipsword."
"Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Loma (sic) M. Peterson, Edinburg; and one niece and one nephew."
"Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning in the E. M. Davis Funeral Home, Edinburg. The Rev. C. E. Johnston will officiate and burial will be in Kramer Cemetery, Beecher City (sic)."
