- Mrs. Georgia Hardesty, 80, of Springs, died April 11, 1979 in Meyersdale
Community Hospital.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and its WSCS.
Surviving are a son, Guy Hardesty, Springs; a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Davis,
Grantsville, Md.; a brother, Paul Sanders, Baltimore, Md.; three sisters,
Mrs. Jessie Fulk, Oakland, Md.; Mrs. Nellie Chaney and Mrs. Wilma Iames,
both of Cumberland, Md.; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and
one great-great grandchild.
Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home where services were
conducted in St. Paul's Church with Pastor Saddle Triplett officiatin
Interment, Grantsville Cemetery.
The family suggests expressions of sympathy take the form of
contributions to St. Paul's Church memorial fund.
