- George F. Howard, 86, Liberty, MO, died Aug. 22, 2006. Mr. Howard was born May 3, 1920, in Warrensburg, MO, the eldest son of Edna (Carder) and George Frederick Howard. He lived in Liberty for the past 46 years. He worked for the Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant in Claycomo for 31 years before he retired in 1978. He was a member of South Liberty Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Pauline (Banes) Howard, of the home; a daughter, Patricia Lynch, Lee's Summit; a son, Norman Howard, Kearney; two sisters, Hazel Hunt, Prairie Village, KS, and Mildred Tygart, Smithville; two brothers, Loyd Howard, Gladstone, and Herbert Howard, Urich; and one granddaughter.
Funeral services were Aug. 25, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel. Burial with military honors in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens in Warrensburg.
