- FROSTBURG — Thelma B. (Miller) Clark McKenzie, 83, of 20107 Quinn Street, Gilmore, died Nov. 3, 1997, at home. Born March 3, 1914, at Pekin, she was a daughter of the late Lonzo and Bridgett (Fitzpatrick) Miller. She also was preceded in death by her first husband, Leon Clark; two brothers, William Miller and Ray Miller; and one sister, Nondis Sabero. She was a member of St. Mary’s of The Annunciation, Lonaconing, and the Senior Citizens of Georges Creek. Surviving are her husband, Roy Clarence McKenzie; two sons, Leon Clark and wife Shirley,Kansas, and Raymond Clark and wife, Shirley, Myersville; a daughter, Thelma Breightner and husband, Henry, Baltimore; eight step-children, Joann Lashbaugh and husband, Edward, Virginia; Shirley Ravenscroft and husband John, Lonaconing; Roy McKenzie and wife LaNita, Midland; Marvin McKenzie and wife Donna, Gilmore; Gary McKenzie and wife Eleanor, Lonaconing; Mark McKenzie, Brooklyn Park; Lewis McKenzie and wife Wilda, Lonaconing; Norman McKenzie, McCoole; one sister, Delores Arnold, Denver, Colo.; half-sister, Maxine Murphy, Westernport; half-brother, Rowe Miller and wife Virginia, Vale Summit; nine grandchildren; 21 step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, Lonaconing, on Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s of The Annunciation on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. with Father James Hannon, Celebrant. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland. A Christian Wake service will be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. with Sister Marietta Culhane, OSF Pastoral Life Director. Published in The Cumberland Times-News, November 4, 1997
