- MIDLAND - Steven Allen O'Haver Sr., 60, of Railroad Street, Midland died Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 24, 1956, in Cumberland, was the son of the late Olin O'Haver and Rosie (McKenzie) O'Haver. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Allen O'Haver Jr. and two brothers, Johnny and David O'Haver. Steve was a 1974 graduate of Valley High School. He joined the U.S. Army in 1975 and served in U.S. Army National Guard for 20 years. He was the head custodian at Washington Middle School. He is survived by his son, Nathan O'Haver and wife, Kylie of Lonaconing; a grandson, Cash Alexander O'Haver; a brother, Mike O'Haver and wife, Linda of Lonaconing; three sisters, Catherine Steele of Lonaconing, Lois Elkins of Nikep and Patricia Butler and husband, Alan of Mount Savage and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, April 30, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A, Lonaconing. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 1, 2017, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Tom Morgan officiating. Interment will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
