- Mrs. Holt Scott – Mrs. Gladys L. Scott, 60 of 202 Springdale Street, died yesterday in Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient one month. She had been in ill health several months. A native of LaVale, she was born May 18, 1905 a daughter of the late Ulysses and Zora (Hines) McKenzie. Her husband, Holt Scott, preceded her in death. Mrs. Scott had been employed as a cook at Memorial Hospital. Survivors include two brothers, James E. McKenzie, San Diego, Calif.’ And Walter M. McKenzie, this city, and two sisters, Mrs. Eva Toothman, Morgantown, W. Va., and Mrs. Ethel Beeghly, Virginia Beach, Va. The body is at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where the family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Cumberland Evening Times, Wednesday, March 23, 1966
