- Services for Walter Merle (Jack) McKenzie, 69, who was found dead Monday in his room at Central YMCA, will be conducted today at 11 a. m. at Wendt Funeral Home. Rev. Warren W. Watts will officiate and interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. A native of Cumberland, he was a son of the late Ulysses E. and Ora J. (Hines) McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie was employed as a cook and was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include a brother, James E. McKenzie, San Diego, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Eva Toothman, Morgantown, W. Va., and Mrs. Ethel Beeghly, Virginia Beach, Va. The Cumberland News, August 12, 1970
