Dakota Ash McKenzie, infant son of James Jr. and Valerie G. Lynch McKenzie, Hancock, MD died Wednesday, December 9, 1998 at Washington County Hospital.
He was born December 9, 1998 in Hagerstown.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Dorian A. McKenzie, at home; two brothers, James E. McKenzie III and Bryan J. McKenzie, both at home; paternal grandparents, James E. McKenzie Sr. and Mary Keating McKenzie, Hancock; maternal grandfather, Leon Charles Lynch, Berkeley Springs, WV; paternal great-grandparents, James and Lenore Keating, Cumberland, MD; maternal great-grandmother, Virginia Grace Lynch, Cumberland; four aunts; and thee uncles.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Linda Ray Lynch.
Graveside services were held Friday, December 11 at 10 a.m. at Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Route 655, one mile north of Hancock. The Rev. George W. Glick officiated.
Arrangements were by the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock.
