  Notes	McCoole, Md., April 7 – John F. Ravenscroft, 75, retired merchant, died at his home earlier today, after an illness of a week. He was a native of Dawson, this county, and had resided here for 37 years. Surviving are one son, Floyd, and one daughter, Mrs. James B. Sample, both of McCoole. He also leaves four sisters, Mrs. Eliza Bolen, Cumberland; Mrs. C.A. Robinson and Mrs. May McKenzie, McCoole, and Mrs. Samuel Robinson, Cresaptown. The funeral will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. from the First Methodist Episcopal Church, Keyser, W.Va., with burial in Queen’s Point Cemetery. Cumberland Evening Times, Thursday, April 7, 1932
