- BRUNSWICK — Billy Dean Murray, 55, of Brunswick, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015, at the Baltimore-Washington Medical Center, Glen Burnie. Born Aug. 23, 1959, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Robert Murray, Avilton, and the late Merla (Garlitz) Murray. Billy was a foreman for Allegheny Industries and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, West Salisbury, Pa. He served in the U.S. Army, 317th Engineer Corps. Surviving, besides his father, are two sisters, Betty Murray and Cathy Murray, both of Avilton; seven nieces and nephews, Michael Winebrenner, Larry Winebrenner, Misti Murray, Rhonda Woods, Christopher Murray, Cory Murray, Caleb Murray and seven great-nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, West Salisbury, Pa., on Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at 10 a.m. with Father Nathan Munsch officiating.
