  Notes	YORK, Pa. - James H. McKenzie Sr., 53, of West Manchester Township, died Friday at 3:20 p.m. at York Hospital. Born Jan. 4, 1946, in Lonaconing, Md., he was the son of LoVanna (Allen) McKenzie, of Frostburg, Md., and the late Joseph McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie was most recently self-employed. He previously worked for Bi-Comp, York, York Gazette and Daily, and Progressive Typographers. He graduated in 1965 from Valley High School in Lonaconing, and also attended York Technical Institute of York. He was a member of Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church, South Beaver Street, York. Surviving is his wife Shirley (Hyde) McKenzie. They celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on Oct. 23. He also is survived by two sons, James H. McKenzie Jr. at home, and Tim McKenzie, York; two daughters, Kimberly Bixler, Hawaii, and Amanda McKenzie at home; three grandchildren; one brother, Melvin McKenzie, Somerset; and three sisters, Joann Spiker, Cathy Broadwater and Barbara McKenzie, all of Frostburg, Md. Friends will be received at the Robert F. Koller Funeral Home Inc., 2000 West Market St., York, Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. A memorial service will be held there Wednesday at 3 p.m. Burial will be private.
