- ECKHART - Mrs. Lula Snyder, 82, of here, died yesterday in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland. A native of here, she was a daughter of the late Maurice M. and Mary A. (Rephann) Porter. Her husband, Stanley Snyder, preceded her in death. Mrs. Snyder was a member of the Eckhart United Methodist Church, the WSCS, and the Eckhart Homemakers. She had been a Sunday School teacher for 50 years. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Emma Bloomer, Baltimore; Mrs. Virgie Stark and Mrs. Pearl Craze, both of Frostburg; three brothers, Marshall Porter, Russell Porter and Nathan Porter, all of Eckhart; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted in the funeral home tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Robert Kitchen will officiate and interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be James Porter, Robert Porter, Ronald Hansel, John Kreitzburg, William Pifalo and Irvin Sperry.
