- FROSTBURG — Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Watson,78, died this morning at her home in Eckhart following an extended illness. Born in Eckhart, she was a daughter of the late Morrison T. and Ann (Rephann) Porter and widow of Richard Watson. Mrs. Watson was a member of Eckhart Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, John R. and Richard Watson, both of Eckhart; four daughters; Mrs. Gordon Plummer and Mrs. Mae Hansel, both of Eckhart; Mrs. Owen Logsdon, Diamond, Pa.; and Mrs. William Shaffer, Westernport; three brothers, Marshall, Nathan and Russell Porter; all of Eckhart; five sisters, Mrs. Virgie Stark and Mrs. Harry Craze, both of Frostburg; Mrs. Stanley Snyder, Eckhart, and. Mrs. Frank Bloomer, Baltimore, 23 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where friends will be received from 7 to 9 p. m. today and from 2 to 4 arid 7 to 9 p. m. tomorrow.
