- James Luteman – James Henry Luteman, Windsor Hotel, was dead on arrival yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was staying at the local hotel while on a three day leave from Baker VA Center in Martinsburg, W.Va. He had been in ill health for some time. Mr. Luteman was gassed in WWI. He was a son of the late Albert R. and Florence (Dougherty) Luteman and was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Surviving are four sons, James and George Luteman, both of Ford, N.J.; William Luteman, Oxnard, calif; and Paul Luteman, a member of the Merchant Marine; three daughters, Mrs. Agnes Peters, Portsmouth, Va.; Mrs. Eleanor Spence, Newport, R.I., and Miss Mary Jo Luteman, Baltimore, and two sisters, Mrs. Franklin Taylor, Van Nuys, Calif.; and Mrs. Charles Clark, Cash Valley Road. He was a former employee of the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company plant here. A requiem mass will be celebrated in SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church on Monday at 10 a.m. and interment will be in the parish cemetery.
