- CUMBERLAND — David Leo “Skinz” McKenzie, 54, of Cumberland, died on Friday, Dec. 2, 2011 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born May 24, 1957, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Harold Vincent McKenzie and Dorothy Irene (Mull) McKenzie. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Dale F. McKenzie. A retiree of CSX Railroad, David is survived by his wife of 34 years, Donna M. McKenzie, Cumberland; a son, Matthew I. McKenzie and wife Brandi, Keyser, W.Va.; a daughter, Amy E. McKenzie, Cumberland; a brother, Robert V. McKenzie and wife Mae, Grantsville; and a sister, Judy M. Adkins and husband Donald, Danville, Va. Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Monday, Dec. 5, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Finzel Cemetery.
