"DECATUR--Earl J. McKenzie, 91, of Titusville, Fla., formerly of Decatur, died at 2:45 a.m. Friday (Sept. 17, 1993) in Vista Manor Nursing Home, Titusville."
"Funeral Mass will be 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. James Catholic Church. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with 7 p.m. prayer service in J. J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials: Knights of Columbus, Mentally Handicapped Drive."
"Mr. McKenzie was born Nov. 10, 1901, in Monticello, the son of Edward and Sarah Meyers McKenzie. He was a blacksmith for the Wabash Railroad for 30 years and worked for Powell Manufacturing for 15 years and Bickes Wilbert Vault for five years. He married Gladys Schroll in 1922."
"Surviving are his son, Thomas and wife Jan of Decatur; daughter, Wanda Mullins of Titusville, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren."
