  Notes	From Shirley Jean Miller McKenzie August, 2013: Dad's death was 12/28/1985, in Frostburg, MD He was buried in Frostburg Cemetery on 12/31/1985 He was a carpenter who lived and worked in Frostburg all his life except for a few years working at the Celanese. My mother was born 12/9/1915 in Midlothian, MD (Her mother died on 8/4/1922 at age 33 because of breast cancer. She was raised by her dad and grandmother in Midlothian, MD) She died on 6/8/2006 in Cumberland, MD and was buried on 6/13/2006 in Frostburg Cemetery. I was an only child. I only managed to get my mother's family back to Arnold Brode in 1889 in Midlothian and on my dad's side I didn't get back any further than Steven C. Miller who was born in 1853 who was my grandfather's dad. Maybe someday I'll try to look further I will start looking for photos or other things I might have for the McKenzie's of MD but I know I don't have a lot. I do have some Cumberland History from different news stories about early Cumberland so I will send you those to use if you want to or just for your information. I kept this with my family tree because none of our children lived in Maryland and only visited for brief periods of time and now they find it interesting to read about where their dad and I grew up so I'm glad I saved it for them.
