- WESTERNPORT—Lorenza C. Lambert, 87, of 253 Main Street Extended, died Saturday at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, where he had been a patient five days. Born in Augusta, he was the son of the late Benjamin S. and Gracie (Lambert) Lambert. He was a retired farmer and former commissioner of the Town of Westernport. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren and a former trustee of the church. Twice married, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nellie (Murphy) Lambert. Surviving are his second wife, Irene (Paugh) Lambert, three sons, Calvin Lambert, Piedmont, and Lester Lambert and Roy Lambert, both of Westernport; three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Tinsley, Westernport; Mrs. Viola Coddington, LaVale, and Mrs. Ellsworth Boal, Westernport; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Carl Hoffman, Cumberland; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Boal Funeral Home, where a service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today by Rev. Robert Strickler, pastor of the Church of the Brethren. Interment will be in Philos Cemetery.
