RAWLINGS — Mary Margaret Minnick, 76, of Rawlings, passed away Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 at her home. Born October 1, 1935 in Eckhart, she was the daughter of the late Robert Hillary Lancaster and Nellie (Lavin) Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Minnick; brothers, Charles Lancaster, George Lancaster, Robert Lancaster, Ralph Lancaster, and Bruce Lancaster; and sister, Lois Pope. Mary was Methodist by faith. She is survived by a sister, Erma Wymer, Rawlings; and a brother, James Lancaster and wife Betty, Smithfield, Pa. At the request of Mary, there will be no services and her body will be cremated. Inurnment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. Sowers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
