Born in Meyersdale, he was the son of Mrs. Agnes (Ohler) Beal Brant, Oakland, and the late George Beal. Surviving besides his mother are his wife, Mrs. Merle Katherine (Glaze) Beal, two daughters, Mrs. Betty Agnes Flaherty, Johnstown, PA and Miss Meltina “Tina” Beal at home, one son; Melvin Ellsworth Beal, Hackettstown, New Jersey; two half brothers, John Brant, Deep Creek Lake and Walter Brant, Marianna, PA., Two sisters, Mrs. Edith Bowman, Deep Creek Lake and Mrs. Cora Friend, Swanton, 11 grandchildren. Services Monday. Internment Restlawn Memorial Park.
He was buried on 17 Jun 1968 in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale, Allegany Co., Maryland.
