Notes	MOUNT SAVAGE - Albert P. (Jake) Bridges, 78, of here, died yesterday in Memorial Hospital. He was born in Chaneysville, Pa., the son of the late Jacob and Fannie (Blucker) Bridges. He was a retired coal miner. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and was a veteran of World War II, and was a member of Old Rail Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Bridges is survived by his widow, Mrs. Pearl (Diehl) Bridges; four sons, Floyd, Howard and Eugene Bridges, all of here, and Paul Bridges, LaVale; one daughter, Mrs. Blanche Burton, Dundalk; three sisters, Mrs. Olive Caler, of here; Mrs. Mildred Troutman, Hyndman, and Mrs. Virginia Harden, Cumberland; two brothers, Cecil Bridges, Barrellville, and Leo Bridges, of here; 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be in the form of contributions to the Maryland Chapter of the American Lung Association. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 9 a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Mt. Savage. Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Graveside military rites will be accorded by Old Rail Post VFW, Mt. Savage. A Christian wake service will be conducted in the funeral home tomorrow at 8 p.m. The Cumberland Sunday Times, July 3, 1977
