He is survived by his wife, LaVerne (Rafferty) Lavin; four brothers, Clarence, of Cumberland; Vincent and Earl, Frostburg; Bernard, of Huffman; two sisters, Edith Lavin and Mrs. Sadie Smith, Frostburg; and three grandchildren. The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home where services will be conducted Tuesday morning. The Cumberland Sunday Times, February 5, 1956 He was buried on 7 Feb 1956.
