FROSTBURG - Mrs. Mary E. Closterman, 73, Red Hill, died in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, this morning after being a patient for two weeks. Born in Eckhart, she was the daughter of the late John and Rebecca (Folk) Lavin. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband J. Bernard Closterman; a son, William F. Closterman, Painesville, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Frederick Theis, Astabula, Ohio; and Mrs. John Schultz, Meyersdale, Pa.; two brothers, George Lavin and Leo Lavin, Frostburg; two sisters, Mrs. Hillary Lancaster, Eckhart, and Mrs. William Robertson, Geneva; five grandchildren. The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p. m. and tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. The Cumberland Evening Times, September 6, 1963
