- Milnor Roberts Bruce, 65, of 108 Luteman Road, a retired accountant for the Kelly Springfield Tire Company, was found dead in his car off Bishop Walsh Road, last night. Authorities said he died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Mr. Bruce was born March 9, 1906, a son of the late William Motter Bruce Sr. and Eleanor (Roberts) Bruce. His wife, Ethel C. Bruce, died last Saturday and was buried Monday. Mr. Bruce was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Men of Emmanuel, Fort Cumberland Post 13, American Legion, Cumberland Lodge 63, BPO Elks, and the Cumberland Country Club. Surviving are three brothers, Robert MacDonald Bruce and Richard J. Bruce, Sr., both of this city, and John J. Bruce, Romney, W. Va., and several nephews and nieces. The body is at the Stein Funeral Home, where friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Episcopal Church with Rev. J. Finley Cooper officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family requests memorials in the form of donations to the All Saints Memorial Fund of Emmanuel Church. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Pallbearers will be Col. Randolph Millholland, Lynn C. Lashley, Norwood J. Wilkinson, C. Albert List, Richard J. Bruce Jr. and David S. Bruce.
