  Notes	LAVALE - Janet Lee McKenzie (Sell), 74, of LaVale, passed away Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, at her home. Born April 14, 1945, in Altoona, Pa., Janet was the daughter of the late James Elmer Sell and the late Kathryn Mabel Sell (Rupert). She was also preceded in death by her brother, James Lynn Sell; her brother-in-law, Ronald H. Whetsell Sr.; and her niece, Karin Sell. Janet is survived by her husband of 53 years, Leonard A. McKenzie; and her two daughters, Kathryn F. McKenzie, of Chesapeake Beach, and Jennifer L. Wilhelm and husband, Steven, of Winchester, Va. Janet is also survived by three loving grandchildren, Seth Brackett, Brooke Wilhelm, and Breanna Wilhelm. Janet also leaves behind her brother, Paul W. Sell and wife, Diane, sisters-in-law, Sally Chapman, Dorothy Whetsell, and Mary DaValli and husband, Paul, as well as many nieces and nephews. Janet was a 1963 graduate of Altoona High School. She was employed at Burkey's Furniture and Carpet in LaVale. She was a former employee at Buchanan Lumber, Riggleman and Associates, and Jones Coal. She was a member at LaVale United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Friends and family will be received at Adams Funeral Home P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com), on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 1 p.m., with the Reverend Frankie A. Revell officiating. Janet will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Gardens on Cash Valley Road, LaVale.
