Born December 18, 1917, in Meyersdale, PA, Beatrice was the daughter of the late George Franklin Beall and Margaret Lavina (Mazer) Beall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Hoenicka; a granddaughter: Tracey Lynann Brehm; four sisters: Elsie Sweene, Esther Lammers, Mary Elaine Seiler, and Katherine Wisegarver, Chester, VA; a brother: Robert Beall; and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Beatrice was a retired bookkeeper for First National Bank and was previously employed at the Celanese Fibers Corporation of America and Montgomery Ward. She was a member of Saint John's Lutheran Church. Beatrice is survived by her daughter: Judith A. Brehm, Cumberland, MD; three grandchildren: Charles E. Brehm and wife, Sharon Merling Brehm; Dawn Marie House; and Crystal Anne Brehm, all of Cumberland, MD; her great grandchildren: Alexa Justine Brehm and Wyatt Justice Brehm; and two step grandchildren: Kylye Lynn DeHaven and Katye Brooke DeHaven. Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, from 7:00 P.M., to 9:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at 1:00 P.M., with Reverend Tormod Svensson officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
